In 2018, Freshly Rooted in partnership with the City of Cleveland, Councilwoman Jasmin Santana to launch the S.E.E.D.S. Women's Development Program. In Feb. 2020, Ladies of SEEDS graduated its first cohort. These women went through an intensive program and weekly to personally, professionally, and socially grow.

In 2015, Freshly Rooted in partnership with Metro Health Hospital launched VIDA, 10-week culinary training program focusing on Latinx cultural foods. The program has graduated over 20 community residents and has partnered with local faith-based organizations to further support and empower each other.
The success of the VIDA Program is highly influenced by Freshly Rooted core competencies.
Over the years Freshly Rooted has partnered with Refresh Collective to engage at risk youth in the inner city of Cleveland. Youth engagement consist of cooking classes, fun workshops on growing and gardening, and even spontaneous hip-hop battles. Dj Doc and his amazing team leads youth through creative arts and music.
Freshly Rooted has contributed to Cleveland Clinics 8-week community health challenge. Community members from Cleveland Eastside neighborhoods compete to improve their health. Freshly Rooted has offered over 40 diverse classes such as mindfulness, cultural foods, dietary restrictions, and deep breathing. These has been offered at Cornucopia Place in partnership with Burten, Bell, Carr Development Corporation.
